Privacy policy
Effective October 30, 2026
This policy explains how Anko ("we", "us") handles information when you use useanko.com. For privacy questions or requests, contact gaoevan37@gmail.com. If you use a team workspace, its owner also controls the information they bring into that workspace and who can access it.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, account identifier, profile details you provide, authentication information, workspace membership, and preferences.
- Connected accounts: when you connect LinkedIn through Unipile, we import existing conversations, messages, contact and profile information, and connection-request records. When you connect Calendly, we receive scheduling account information, events, invitee details, booking changes, and cancellations. We store connection credentials needed to keep authorized integrations working.
- Workspace content: pipeline stages, tags, follow-up rules, notes, booking links, uploaded company documents and extracted website content, AI results, review decisions, and feedback.
- Technical information: information needed to operate and secure the service, such as request and error information, device or browser information, and network information processed by our hosting and authentication providers.
Google sign-in
If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides basic identity information, including your Google account identifier, email address and verification status, and profile information such as your name and picture. We use it to authenticate you, create or link your Anko account, display your identity, and match invitations sent to your email address. It is stored with our authentication provider, Supabase, and relevant account information is available to your workspace teammates.
Google sign-in does not give Anko access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Google Contacts, or Google Calendar. Calendly and LinkedIn are separate connections you choose to authorize. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How we use information
We use information to provide sign-in, operate shared workspaces, import and organize conversations, match bookings, identify follow-ups, generate and review suggestions, provide support, and protect the service against abuse. We may also process information to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.
AI processing
Anko sends relevant conversation text, contact profile information, booking facts, and workspace instructions to AI providers to classify leads, assess tags, and suggest pipeline and follow-up rules. TypeSafe processes classifications and profile tags; Anthropic processes suggestions and may process features configured to use its models. Processing can run automatically after import, on new messages or booking changes, and when you request a re-sync. AI outputs and your review answers are stored in your workspace. Do not add information you are not authorized to share or that is unnecessary for these features.
Who receives information
Workspace owners and authorized teammates can access shared workspace information. We use service providers to operate Anko: Cloudflare for hosting and background processing; Supabase for authentication and database storage; Unipile for LinkedIn connectivity; Calendly for scheduling; TypeSafe and Anthropic for AI; Resend for account and invitation email; GitHub Actions for large background classification runs; and LogRocket for recordings of how members use the app, with leads' names, messages and photos, and anything typed, masked before they leave the browser (the app's menus and setup screens stay readable). Providers receive information needed for their functions. Connected services also process information under their own privacy policies.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and security, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate protections. We do not sell personal information or use workspace conversation content for targeted advertising.
Storage, security, and retention
We use access controls, workspace permissions, encrypted connections, and server-side protection of integration credentials. No service can guarantee complete security. Our providers may process information in countries other than where you live.
We retain account and workspace information while needed to provide the service, maintain its security, or meet legal obligations. Disconnecting an integration stops its authorized connection but does not automatically erase previously imported workspace records. To request deletion of an account or imported data, email us with the account and workspace concerned. We may verify your identity and authority over shared data. Records needed for legal obligations, security, or disputes and copies in backups may remain for longer.
Cookies and your choices
Anko uses cookies and browser storage for sign-in, session continuity, and interface preferences. Blocking these can prevent the app from working. You can disconnect integrations in Anko and revoke Google access through your Google Account connections. Revoking access does not itself delete an Anko account or its saved data.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. Contact us to make a request. For information controlled by a workspace owner, we may direct your request to that owner.
Children and policy changes
Anko is a business service and is not intended for children under 18. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us. We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the updated effective date and provide additional notice where required.
